As an undergraduate student, Juliana worked as the President of the Grove City College Orchestra for two years during which time she planned and hosted concert receptions made possible by fundraisers which she organized. She was nominated to serve as a student representative for the Music Department at the same college. As the winner of the Grove City College Concerto Competition during her sophomore year and the recipient of the Clifford and Joanne Cox Award for Excellence in Music for the 2015-16 season, Juliana was recognized for both her musical skill and her great desire to increase the presence of the arts in the community.
Growing up in a military family, Juliana lived in many states and even in Germany before ending up in Fairfax, Virginia. She maintains a love of travel from her childhood experiences of visiting France, Italy, Spain, and other wonderful countries, and she is also fond of reading and playing board games with her family.
