Poetry of Music: Legends and Folklore

Every legend began somewhere as a song passed hand to hand, and every folk tune still carries a little of its legend inside it. This year’s Poetry of Music goes looking for both: music built from myth and fantasy, alongside folk songs gathered from around the world, sung by all five Youth Chorus ensembles. An evening spent inside some of the oldest stories we share—the ones passed down because someone couldn’t stop singing them.
